Shame, shame, shame!

It is amazing that Democratic Chairman Brian Wahby is taking credit for heading a design plan to establish Ward Organization based Websites in this P-D article. There has never been a meeting or discussions with the Web Based Organizations. Those Ward Groups made decisions on their own to help enlighten their constituents and show their progressive approach to the way they do their politics. Maybe Mr. Wahby should have complimented those Wards ( Eight, Eleven and Twenty Fourth) for their forward thinking and creative agendas, rather than taking credit for things he had no idea that were coming down the pipe. This approach of not acknowledging others is exactly what we are attempting to squash in within the Party. Come on Brian, admit that you knew nothing of these Websites until they came to fruition. Allow everyone to know that you are the Chairman of an organization with some fairly intelligent members, who do good things on their own without you doing the planning.

  • Puhleeze Mr. Chairman - shame is on you. I guess we know where your bread is buttered....

  • At last look, Wahby had trouble organizing a Haloween party, much less Democratic wards. As someone who HAS been involved in working to organize progressives I can say that I've never seen or heard from Wahby when it was time to get everyone moving in the same direction. He may be active on his home turf in the Central Committe but in OUR ward, I don't think so.

  • Success has a funny way of finding many purported "fathers." This is a great website with vision and clarity -- clearly not the work of a committee. The strength of the party (hell any organization) lies within its talented individuals who should be so credited.
